I am slowly coming along on my 101 things to do in 1001 days. Here are the latest two!
#8. Have family pictures taken. A friend from college took our pictures last week! Eli fell asleep in the car and woke so grouchy so we were lucky to get some without tears, but probably no smiles. Here is a peek.
#70. Make a good loaf of gluten free bread:

(I did 1/2 cup millet flour and 1 cup oat flour instead of what the recipe said) FYI
I did it! I finally made a good loaf of gluten free bread! We had it for dinner and Bryan had it for lunch the next day. Then we ate it again for soup and sandwiches. Woohoo! After 10 months of being 100% gluten free at home and about 90% away from home we finally have good sandwich bread!
That's all for now- I'll post soon about our southern Utah hunting trip!
the bread looks amazing. how about the recipe or at least the site for the recipe please. i need to get practicing for having bread ready for sandwiches and french toast and other things at christmas time. you are amazing! when people say 'gluten free' like they are being denied everything good to eat you know it won't be an easy journey. but if they look at it like you did knowing the health benefits are huge and the learning curve easy then it would be a grand adventure. when are you going to start selling G/F bread and cookies at the christmas bazaars that will be popping up. a big slice of that and some homemade applebutter is a genuine treat!
ReplyDeleteI added the recipe and thinly minor change was millet and oat flour. The rest was the same!
