Last week was quite the whirlwind! Bryan accepted a teaching job in Sugar City, Idaho 4 days before our planned trip to Alaska. This meant we needed to move EVERYTHING out of our apartment into a storage unit.
This was the hardest decision I've ever made but we've had such an outpouring of blessings. Our friends fed us this week, recruited their husbands to help is move, our aprtment lease was up just in time so we could cancel without re signing, we cancelled our tv and internet without any cancellation fees, and many other little tender mercies. Now onto our next adventure!
it is hard to leave any place that has been your home for a couple of years and you have such tender memories like bringing your firstborn home there and watching his 'first' of so many things. you have made amazing friends in the past 6 months and will miss them too. however, idaho and utah are still just a day visit away. you now have a reason to go back and visit and plan a day with the girls and their kids. they can come visit you and get a view of idaho. you will make new friends to add to the group and have a new school adventure and experience and learn about living in a rural community. but in the meantime if 'off to alaska' and that is such a splendid summer break for all of you... enjoy every adventure along the way.
