Today has been so perfect. We attended our church's stake conference which is just several congregations all meeting together. The great thing about this was church was from 10-12 instead of 1-4 so we have all day together!
It snowed a couple inches last night and after lunch my sweet husband went to play in the fresh snow with Eli. He took Eli on rides around the yard on the death saucer. This is what these cheap saucers are called in our family. They inevitably end in injury, luckily though no death yet :)
It was also surprisingly wet snow so we were able to build a snow fort and snowman! It made my heart happy to see Eli and Bryan out there playing and enjoying the simple things in life!

looks like a super fun thing to do on a sunday afternoon especially with perfect wet snow. there wasn't enough that it was overwhelming but just enough for some rides on the death saucer and to make mr. snowman. he is a stylish dude with those bright blue button eyes and red buttons on his clothes and a real carrot for the nose. did you raid your sewing box for buttons?
ReplyDeleteIt's actually a set of plastic buttons and eyes and plastic nose. I found it in the park last year after all the snow melted!!
