Mini Golf

Last weekend we played mini golf with Jeremy and Stephanie. Bryan had never played outdoors so it was fun to do something kinda new.

I stink at golf but it was still fun! Eli and Parker just chilled in the strollers and watched the show. It got pretty chilly but neither of them complained. What good buddies :)

Weekends

Last weekend crystal came down just to play. It was SOOO good to see her. We spent most Of the weekend cooking, eating, window shopping (at target), and we went shooting! It was fun to get out and go play outside!

We had some old sprouting potatoes that we brought with to shoot. It was fun to watch them explode ;)

Mer's Wedding and Monterrey Bay

We left straight from St. George to catch a plane in Vegas for San Jose to go to Meredith's Wedding!  She got married in the Oakland Temple, and the wedding was wonderful! It was so good to see friends from college, finally meet her great Fiance (husband now), and witness their marriage!

The day after the wedding Bryan, Baby, Kenzie and I went to Monterrey Bay to play for the day.  It was absolutely beautiful.It was just so peaceful, sunny, relaxing, and sooo good to spend time with Kenzie who I met at college in the dorms!

 

And if you can't tell, I am supposed to look like i'm in the fish tank ;)

Oh The Weather Outside is Frightful

This weekend we got LOTS of snow. About 8 inches in one day.  I loved it :)  Snow is just... beautiful.  Everything has a stillness about it. Cars on the road seem quieter, there is just less distraction.  I can look out the window at the incredible beauty, or walk through the untouched snow and listen to the icy crunch.  Or.. go to a BYU football game when the high for the day is 25 Degrees.  Smart.

 

 

 

I realize my hair is less than pretty here, but can you see the guy over my shoulder?  Yea its cold. Who cares what we looked like!

 

 

 

These are the benches we sat on, and snuggled out numb toes into.  Ha. 

Thank you Crystal for babysitting!  It was our first real outing without Baby.  We would have brought him, but it was not the smartest idea :)  It was kinda hard to leave him, but nice to have a grown up date.  But I'm good for a while now ;)

 

 

Scripture Power

Do you know that Primary song?  Scripture power?  Its a good one :) 

 

This weekend one of my bestest friends came down from BYU-Idaho to come play

 for the weekend. I LOVED having her down here.  It was a much needed visit :) 

We made scripture covers during the new nap times Eli took. 

The fabric cost 1.50 and it make two, which makes pretty darn cheap covers! 

 

I am a little obsessed with chevron so this tamed my obsession,

 and I like that the elastic is quiet and not a noisy zipper.

Last weekend my mom was able to come down for a few days so she could come visit baby and attend my baby shower that a good friend put on!  A few friends from out of town were able to make it too!  It was a perfect day!  Good food, great friends, and a fun relaxing afternoon.  And thanks Denise for taking so many great pictures!

 I felt so spoiled getting to open so many presents.  My mom gave me a temporal (forehead) thermometer, so we passed it around the room and made everyone test it.  It was pretty funny!

 Crystal H. Made me a really cute wall hanging for the nursery.  Since He will be born in the summer i'll do newborn footprints, then every few months do new footprints in each box to see his growth!

 Crystal W. Made Baby a tiny tie and suspenders!  I can't wait to see him in them!

 My mom made me a "boy quilt" for baby.  I love it!  It has puppies, basketballs, and paw prints.. all in orange and brown.  So cute!

 Lane and Mirella gave us a sweet little outfit when they came to visit, but I forgot to bring it home so I got to unwrap it again!

 Denise gave me a super sweet set of washcloths, bibs, and a hooded towel.  Perfect for Alaska!

It's been a long time since the four of us from middle/high school have been together!  

 So so glad to have these friends here!
