There is a wonderful family that used to live in Alaska with Bryan. They moved to southeast Idaho years ago and now that we are here it's been fun getting to know them. "Grandma Melly" said she will be Eli's third grandma and we love her!
We went on a sleigh ride through the country and Bryan rode their horse Shooter. It was a balmy 10 degrees but we had a blast!
Eli really did love it but was getting tired. (And so nobody reports me to CPS he refused to keep his hat on- I tried) :)
its crazy that you said the sleigh got stuck in the deep snow. good thing this wasn't the santa sleigh or we would not be getting our christmas until spring thaw. horses are so beautiful and huge but oh my those critters are high maintenance and eat a lot and poo a lot. but i also am glad that eli has another grandma who is close by and can give him lots of loves and help you learn stuff too about living in the country and in alaska.
