Eli's Birthday Pictures

Eli had so much fun in his "hot air balloon" taking pictures! I was pretty behind on his Birthday Pictures this year, so late July will have to work ;)

Baby Update

I found these questions I answered when I was pregnant with Eli and thought it would be fun to do a few times before baby comes.

How far along? 30 Weeks and 3 days
Total weight gain: 17 pounds
Maternity clothes? the BEST! Although, its hot in the summer to have your pants come up so high, they really are comfortable.  And the elastic stretchy sides on shirts are soo comfy too.  I'm also to the point of wearing Bryan's T shirts and basketball shorts (already?!)
Sleep: I miss sleeping on my stomach, but I actually sleep pretty well
Best moment this week:  Seeing distinct body parts like arms and legs poke my belly.  I love feeling her move around.
Food cravings: Honestly nothing really!
Anything making you queasy or sick: I'm finally feeling good and haven't had lots of heartburn or other symptoms
Gender: Girl!!!!!
Symptoms: My pelvic joints and muscles are pretty sore, so I kinda waddle for a while if I have been sitting too long.  Heartburn is pretty infrequent, not tons of braxton hicks contractions, or really anything else.
Belly Button in or out? Its been out for a long time!
Wedding rings on or off? On (luckily my feet or hands arent swollen yet)
Happy or Moody most of the time: Bryan says i'm a little snappy.  Oops.  haha.  Gotta work on that ;)

Looking forward to: holding her!!!!!!

Fishing Derby

Craig has some fun traditions for the 4th of July.  One being the fishing derby the night before.  Here is Eli last year happy as a clam to have caught a fish, even in the rain.

This year we had  beautiful weather and another fun derby.

And Bryan caught by far the most unique "item" under the sea! He pulled up a tire with a crab hanging on, and later a giant tube worm. Gross, but interesting. All night Eli laughed about Daddy getting a tire and crab. Haha!

Eli turns 3!!

Sweet Eli officially turned 3 on June 30th. We had a relaxing day playing and cooking together. I sure love my buddy.

He made sure to lick the beaters after helping make his cake. He wanted "sprinkle cake and orange frosting" and for ice cream "chocolate like brownies".

In the afternoon we did a little dock fishing. He caught 2 all by himself! He hooked it and got so excited he just kept saying "it's, it's, it's, a fish!!"

This little boy was sooo excited to see his cake lit with candles (then was too nervous to blow them out)

And he's been busy playing ever since! Woo hoo!

Alaska Days

We've had great weather recently and have had some time to go berry picking. I think Eli ate more blueberrys than he got in the bucket but it was a good adventure.

Eli and I have been going on walks everyday too. His attention span is long enough I can do a few miles without him getting bored (and needing to stop at the park) It's great!

(Okay so maybe sometimes he gets bored and I have to buy some time)

Father's Day 2015

This year Eli made Farher's Day gifts for Bryan and Papa Shane since we were with both of them.  He had a blast "helping" paint. He actually did a lot on his own and was very careful!

We made a little tackle box of treats like gummy worms, swedish fish, and lifesavers. Then painted a picture with Eli's handprint.

He even wrote his name on the back!

Eli has a wonderful Papa, Grandpa Mills, and Daddy. I'm so thankful to have them all in my life and Eli's.
