Memorial Day 2015

We had a great Memorial Day weekend spent in Salmon, Idaho with Bryan's parents and extended family. It was good to see so many of Bryan's aunts and uncles and Eli loved playing outside!

Our first stop was the cemetery to visit Bryan's grandma on his dad's side. Eli was more interested in finding big 'camping sticks'.

It was hard to get a 4 generation picture of Eli, Bryan, his dad, and Bryan's Grandad Westfall. But we snuck one in ;)

There were plenty of BBQ's and lots and lots of yummy food!

Eli loved Bryan's great uncle. This is his grandpas brother. It was sweet to see them playing and imagining what it would have been like for Eli to know Bryan's grandpa.

Salmon is just a quiet beautiful farming community. This is where Bryan's mom grew up. Bryan's dad grew up in salmon too!

Eli requested Shane to push him :)

Then off to the cemetery to visit both of Bryan's mom's parents. I was able to meet Bryan's grandpa a couple times before he passed away and he was a very very sweet man.

Eli found this blue ball of yarn before we left town and insisted it was his puppy. He dragged that thing around everywhere!

Great weekend but I think we wore Eli out ;)

  1. my favorite pictures of course are those with the 4 generation of westfall men and the ones of family being together. it looks like you guys had perfect weather for BBQ and cemetary visits and just being outside. spending time with family doing ordinary things are the greatest way to spend a long weekend. i miss you guys and hope soon to have you come visit oregon... you've been away waaay too long.
