We are working on becoming more involved in our town, although we still feel like a gold fish in the ocean, with so many people and so much going on. Bu we had a blast at the Herriman Days festivities. We started off by going to a parade. Eli loved it and the sounds of the sirens didn't bother him at all. 
maybe next year you can take this little guy to a real live rodeo... i still am waiting to go. the parade and weather look perfect for a little family to go out and get involved in their community. hope you had a snow cone or a corn dog or some other typical (but disgusting) parade food.
